Stimulating the fishing cluster in Southern Spain
The fishing industry is at a crossroads, midway between the strong adjustment process that the quarrying branch of sea fishing is currently experiencing, and the need to generate new growth potential with regard to the processing industry, in a maturity situation yet able to drive new opportunities around elements such as innovation or internationalization.
In this context, the Centre for Innovation and Technology GARUM, from its headquarters in Isla Cristina [Spain], will offer, through excellent technical and human resources and the adequate network of cooperation with third parties, advanced services in sea food technologies, processes technologies and technologies for sustainability, the entire cluster of fishing operators, with special reference to the business sector in Andalusia.
Likewise, CT Garum will offer advanced services in foresight, business development, internationalization, business incubation, developing capabilities to interact at the international scale and structure all kinds of projects. CT Garum is member of RETA, the Network devoted to Technological sites and facilities in the region of Andalusia.
